ICEER is being held annually and now is a privileged space to discuss current issues related to Energy and the Environment. This event aims to explore emerging technologies and concepts in a collaborative way, bringing together engineers, researchers and professionals from different areas.

ICEER 2020 is a joint organization of the Dipartimento di Ingegneria of the Università degli studi "Roma Tre", the School of Engineering (ISEP) of the Polytechnic of Porto (P.Porto) and the SCIEI, and will be held at ISEP, Porto, Portugal, during September 14-18, 2020, with collaboration of the CIETI and LEPABE research groups.


 | Important changes due to COVID pandemic!

These troubled and uncertain times, with COVID-19 spread all over the world, have made us reevaluate the possibility of organizing ICEER2020 in Rome, in September this year, possibly with a very small number of local participants onsite, and most of the presentations being done virtually, or postponing the Conference one week and bringing it to ISEP, Porto, Portugal, where we can receive participants from several countries and still have videoconference.

In fact, we believe that the biggest advantage of a standard conference is the face-to-face discussion of the research being presented, as well as the social moments that are shared under informal environment, allowing experiencing different cultures, which has been one of the ICEER conference series differencing marks.

Thus, knowing there are now and will be many constraints to travel for the next months, we have decided to organize a mixed format conference, where those that are allowed to travel and want to participate onsite will be very welcome, but where there will also be the room for participants from countries where there is still confinement or restrictions to travel, through videoconference. Furthermore, if there is a significant number of participants from the same country, possibly we can arrange joint sessions from each of these locations, coordinated by ICEER 2020 organizers.

The access to the ICEER online platform will be offered to all the registered attendees. The submission is still open and the registration page is available with new online presentation registration fee.


Proceedings:

Accepted and registered full papers will be published into Conference Proceedings, which will be indexed by Ei & Scopus.
