The 2nd Annual World Congress of Synthetic Biology 2021 will be held during May 11-14, 2021, in Macao, China.  Synthetic biology has been predicted to heal us, feed us and fuel us. It has claimed as a vibrant and vigorous scientific discipline involving the design, fabrication, and construction of new biological parts, devices, systems, and machines, as well as the re-design of existing, natural biological systems for useful purposes. Synthetic biology enables revolutionary advances in cellular factories, designer organisms and biological devices, using yeast cells as biofactories to produce sustainable biofuels and vaccines. Achievements of this field can lead to rapid developments in many areas including development of new, inexpensive drugs and vaccines, biosensors, bioremediation tools to process contaminants, and new biological production techniques for novel materials and chemicals, including biofuels and energetic materials.

BIT’s SynBio Plus event is dedicated to accelerating the synthetic biology research and innovation through information sharing, and encouraging the translational science of this field in China and beyond.

GalaTech Macao-2021, with a theme of "One Culture, One Dream" will be held during May 11-14, 2021 at Macao, China. This event includes 50+ parallel professional conferences (including this event), and 150+ matchmaking business and social activities, aiming to set a community for the world's top innovators, scientific researchers, scholars, entrepreneurs, start-up leaders and elites in the relevant fields of Life Science, Emerging Industry and Sustainable Development.
