JENGA School
is excited to announce Wendy Oluoch, MBA, as the first CEO for the institution. A milestone that touches greatly on the institution’s core belief in women’s abilities to nurture and lead.

Wendy served as the Head of Growth and Marketing at JENGA School for a period of 5 months guiding the institution to partnerships that have led to an increase in student applications by 131% and enrollment by 50%. She developed strategies that positioned JENGA School’s programs to achieve set targets while at the same time maintaining brand integrity.

“Being raised by a single mother allowed me to appreciate female brilliance and the challenges of being a woman in a male dominated world. It has always been my desire to elevate women as a tribute to my mother.  Wendy is the perfect embodiment of that brilliance and in keeping with our Power to our Women thesis at Impact Africa Network are thrilled to announce her as CEO at JENGA School”, said Mark Karake, founder of JENGA School and CEO at Impact Africa Network.

Wendy brings to JENGA School the Finance and Strategy background needed to propel the virtual institution to the next level. She holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a Bachelor in International Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Finance from the United States University - Africa.

“I'm elated about the opportunity.  26% of computing-related jobs are held by women. The lack of women representation is also seen in frontier technical roles, including those in emerging sectors within Data Science and AI. I have a big hairy audacious goal of ensuring we have 50,000 women in Tech by 2030 through JENGA School programs. Being in a position to champion this cause that is bigger than me is exhilarating, ” says Wendy.

In her new capacity, she will oversee the overall success of JENGA School in producing world class, well rounded technology professionals, building strategic industry partnerships that create opportunities for students, and ease the financial burden on students.
