Portugal Shipping Week 2022 will showcase Portugal as a global shipping and maritime logistics centre and offers foreign shipowners and representatives from every maritime discipline a unique and exciting opportunity to meet, network and develop important new commercial relationships with the leaders of the Portuguese maritime sector.
This second edition of the biennial Portugal Shipping Week will be one of the key maritime gatherings of 2022, offering a range of events focused on the impact of the marine energy transition for shipping and ports, as well as bunkering, port and ancillary services.
Attendees will include leaders from across all sectors of the international shipping industry – regulators, shipowners, ship managers, charterers, bunker suppliers, LNG traders, lawyers, ship brokers, bankers, insurers, insurance brokers, law firms, commodity traders and brokers, cruise operators, ship suppliers, port operators, and shipping service and maritime training providers.
The week’s core events will be held at the historic Alcântara Maritime Terminal, on the banks of the River Tagus, including the Portugal Shipping Week Flagship Conference.
A week of activities, including a round table discussion, seminars, lectures and a maritime exhibition will be complemented by a technical field visit to the Port of Sines. There will also be some spectacular social events set against the background of Lisbon’s glorious riverfront.
