EU push to remove Huawei, other Chinese telecoms gear could cost US$46 billion: report

Removing equipment made by Huawei Technologies and other Chinese vendors from the European Union’s telecoms networks would cost operators €30 billion to €40 billion (US$34 billion to US$46 billion), roughly three times the European Commission’s estimate, according to an industry report released on Wednesday.
