In recent years, the State of Qatar has embarked on a transformative journey that harnesses the power of technology to drive progress, innovation, and improved quality of life. This journey, known as Qatar’s digital transformation, is a strategic initiative aligned with the nation’s ambitious Vision 2030. With a vision to create a diversified, knowledge-based economy and a technologically advanced society, Qatar is leveraging digital technologies to revolutionize industries, enhance government services, and empower its citizens.
Recognising both the opportunities and challenges posed by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation remains at the core of Qatar’s blueprint for economic and social development, the Qatar National Vision 2030. The State’s ICT spending is expected to reach an estimated $9bn by 2024, at a compounded annual growth rate of 9.2%, according to data analytics company Global Data. This comes alongside a $200bn government programme to invest in technology, as well as attract foreign investment and international talent.
In collaboration with C-level executives and Heads of Sectors involved in the Digital Transformation Journey, we are hosting Digital First Qatar Forum. Qatar is on a path of rapid digitalization, and such a conference provides a platform to discuss and showcase the potential of digital transformation. It enables knowledge sharing, highlights best practices, cutting-edge technologies, and facilitates.
