The 3rd African Air Forces Forum, celebrated alongside the 60th anniversary of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) took place in May 2024, at the Abuja International Conference Center. Hosted by the NAF, the Forum attracted a multitude of dignitaries including the country’s Vice President, ministers, defense stakeholders, and aerospace experts from across Africa. The event concluded with a spectacular airshow at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, opened officially by Vice President Kashim Shettima Mustapha GCON.

Following this huge success, the 4th African Air Forces Forum will take place on 22-23 May 2025 in Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos, hosted by the Nigerian Air Force, focusing on key strategies and solutions to ensure national security and contribute to peacekeeping missions both regionally and globally.
The Forum will continue to serve as a regional platform for advancing air force capabilities and building pillars of bilateral partnerships. It will host a variety of discussions on the prospects of air power in Africa, its impact on internal security operations and counter-terrorism operations, and key technologies.
