Harnessing Strategic HIE Partnerships for Innovative Growth and Sustainability

Within a short span of 5 years, the GCC region has witnessed the rollout of 5 major national/local Health Information Exchange (HIE) platforms. Therefore, ZIMAM continues to dedicate a full-day event to support GCC and MENA region HIEs in harnessing the diversity of perspectives in their recently developed community and leveraging each other’s strengths through partnerships and knowledge sharing. The event will also provide a great opportunity to learn about the best HIE practices in the US, Europe, Australia and East Asia. These regions are striving to strengthen HIE platforms to develop Data Utility models, focusing on areas such as data quality, population health and the social determinants of health. The summit’s discussions will illustrate strategies and practical use cases for redefining the value of HIE organizations, ensuring sustainability through enhancing technical operations to support innovative growth models and strategic partnerships.
