The 5th Indonesia International Electric Vehicle, Technology & Component Exhibition 2026
Indonesia is the largest nickel reserves globally, estimated at over 55 million metric tons—or 21 million metric tons based on stricter classifications. These vast nickel resources have positioned Indonesia to attract leading battery manufacturers by leveraging its strategic supply advantage. Indonesia’s EV market is rapidly expanding, driven by strong policy incentives, manufacturing investments, and resource advantages. Indonesia’s electric vehicle (EV) market (including BEV, PHEV/Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, and hybrid) is experiencing growth, with total EV sales rising by 43.4% compared to the same period in 2024 during the first quarter of 2025 (regarding to PwC Indonesia).

The government has set a goal to become the world’s third-largest electric battery manufacturer by 2027 and is aiming to produce 600,000 electric vehicles locally by 2030, with a target of having 2 million battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in operation by that year. Too support these goals, the government is implementing a range of incentives, including tax breaks, subsidies, and regulatory support to attract investment and encourage domestic production. Additionally, infrastructure development is underway, with thousands of public charging stations planned nationwide to accelerate EV adoption and support long-term sustainability goals.

EV & Charging Indonesia 2026 is returning on its 5th edition with a bigger scale and more visitors, together with INAPA 2026, Busworld Southeast Asia 2026, Transport & Logistics Indonesia 2026, and CON-MINE 2026 will be held on 20 – 22 May 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta – Indonesia. The exhibition will feature the latest trend and technology for e-Motorcycle, e-Car, e-Bus, and EV manufacturing solutions including battery, electrical powertrain, component, IT system, material, equipment services, etc. INAPA 2026 together with EV & Charging Indonesia 2026 are expected to bring over 1,000 exhibiting companies and 25,000 visitors in 3 days.
