Building resilience in a changing world

A key hub for global shipping and marine fuels. The event will bring together bunker buyers, suppliers, traders, and other maritime professionals to discuss the industry’s most pressing issues.

Maritime Week Americas 2026 (MWA26) will take place in Panama from 18–21 May 2026 at the InterContinental Miramar, bringing together bunker buyers, suppliers, traders and maritime professionals from across the Americas and beyond.

Positioned at one of the world’s most strategic maritime crossroads, the event will serve as a key platform for industry dialogue under the theme “Building resilience in a changing world.” Panama’s role as a global shipping and marine fuels hub makes it an ideal setting to examine the evolving operational, regulatory and commercial challenges facing the sector.

The programme will explore developments in traditional and alternative marine fuels, market dynamics, compliance and risk management, as well as the wider implications of the energy transition for shipping and bunkering across the Americas.

Maritime Week Americas 2026 will offer delegates a combination of conference sessions, networking opportunities and industry engagement, providing a forum to exchange practical insight, strengthen partnerships and identify future opportunities in a rapidly changing market.

The event is organised by ship.energy, a global platform dedicated to connecting the marine energy value chain through events, publications and data.
