We cordially invite you to join the inaugural South Korea Aero Summit 2025 (SK Aero 2025) to be held in Seoul on 13-14 November, 2025. SK Aero 2025 endeavors to be an opportune event and an ideal platform where key industry stakeholders convene to network with peers, share insights, exchange information, sparkle ideas and forge partnerships in South Korean and Northeast Asian aviation sector.
South Korea’s air travel sector saw a marked recovery in 2024. According to MOLIT, the number of air passengers rose by 19.5% year-on-year, reaching over 120 million—amounting to 97.3% of the peak figure of 123.36 million recorded in 2019. In line with this resurgence, the fleet size of South Korean airlines hit a record 416 aircraft by the end of 2024, surpassing the previous high of 414 set in 2019. Further growth is anticipated in 2025, with domestic airlines planning to introduce 54 new aircraft while phasing out 38 older models.
In 2024, Incheon International Airport achieved its highest position since its 2001 opening, ranking third globally in international passenger traffic. It has completed the transformative fourth-phase facility expansion in Oct. 2024, establishing itself as a megahub airport capable of accommodating over 100 million passengers annually.
Looking ahead, the aviation industry in ROK is set for continued growth, but challenges remain. Combining insightful speeches, engaging panel discussions, exhibition showcases and even a site visit, SK Aero 2025 is expected to gather over 30+ speakers and 200+ participants from the key players, and brainstorm the prospects, challenges and opportunities in the aviation industry in South Korea and beyond.
