The landscape of future energy mix is getting increasingly complex. According to Global Energy Monitor (GEM) report, Solar and wind capacity in the ASEAN region increased by 20% in 2023, bringing the total to more than 28 gigawatts (GW). While the investment in renewable energy is increasing, thermal power generation as the baseload resources will not change in the short term, especially when LNG and green hydrogen / ammonia as alternative fuels are gaining traction in future power generation. Besides, with the significant integration of renewable power in the coming years and demand increase, existing grid infrastructures will be insufficient to meet the intermittent challenges and increasing demand. A resilient, reliable and flexible grid network to meet those challenges is an important pillar in the future energy mix.

Against this background, this event is going to convene more than 300 delegates from across the value chain to discuss in-depth the most updated challenges in the region and thrash out practical solutions to navigate the increasingly integrated energy landscape via technological innovations and collective efforts.

Topics to be covered:

  • Solar pv (utility scale, C&I, floating solar pv, etc)
  • Onshore / Offshore wind energy;
  • LNG / gas /coal power generation and decarbonization;
  • Grid modernization and smarter grid technologies;
  • Micro-grid development and technologies;
  • Energy storage and innovations;
  • Green hydrogen and future fuels for power generation;
  • Project financing and investment;
  • Future mobility;

We look forward to meeting you in Manila in November.
