AN OPPORTUNITY FOR INVESTMENT

Recent research has shown that within next five years, Indonesia will be poised to be a ‘hotspot’ for hyperscale data center investments. The country is expected to experience investments worth over USD 1 billion and an annual growth rate of 11 per cent between 2019 and 2025.

A FOCUS ON DATA CENTERS

Research also indicates that more than USD 600 million will be invested in the construction of data between 2019-2025 with the data center market expected to witness growth of around USD 300 million. The research further revealed that this increase is due to hyperscale cloud providers like Alibaba, Microsoft, Google and AWS which have provided strong boosts to the Indonesian market with announcements to open their own data centers.
