Tech to Replace Animal Testing Is Almost Ready. Scientists Are Not

Seventeen years ago, cell biologist Donald Ingber and his colleagues at Harvard University’s Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering submitted a paper to the journal Science describing their model human lung.
