The Strategic Defence Forum of NADCEL 2026 


The 3rd Africa Land Forces Forum (ALFF 2026), hosted under the patronage of the Nigerian Army, is the strategic defence forum of NADCEL 2026. Held from 4-6 July 2026 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, ALFF 2026 will convene Chiefs of Army and senior military leadership from African and non-African nations, to address the wider African continent’s pressing security challenges, from terrorism and insurgency to border protection and organized banditry.
 
Alongside the high-level conference, ALFF 2026 will feature an international exhibition showcasing the latest global advancements in land warfare capabilities, including armored platforms, ISR technologies, force modernization tools, and integrated defence systems. As African Armies continue its wide-ranging modernization efforts and combat security and territorial threats ALFF 2026 will serve as the central platform for driving collaboration, capability development, and continental resilience by connecting the world’s leading defence suppliers with Chiefs of Armies and senior military leadership from across Africa. 
 
OVERVIEW

Celebrated annually to honour the Nigerian Army’s service, sacrifices, and commitment to safeguarding Nigeria’s sovereignty and national unity, as well as commemorating the enduring legacy of the Nigerian Army since 1863, the 163rd Nigerian Army Day Celebrations will feature ceremonial parades, operational displays, cultural engagements, and strategic discussions that will reflect on past achievements and future defence priorities.

NADCEL 2026 will be attended by H.E. the President of Nigeria, the Vice President, Minister of Defence along with other Ministers, State Governors, Former Heads of State, Senior Military Leadership including Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Navy Staff, Chief of Air Staff, Heads of Security Agencies and other senior officials. Further, the event will be honoured by the presence of invited Chiefs of Armies and senior military leadership from other African and non-African countries
