In 2026, Japan’s CCUS market is entering a new phase of investme,nt execution, supported by nine JOGMEC-backed projects moving toward FID and GX-ETS beginning to internalize carbon costs. The Japan CCUS Summit 2026 (#CCUSJapan26) is Asia’s leading event for carbon capture, utilization, and storage, bringing together 600+ key stakeholders and 80+ expert speakers from across Japan and the global CCUS landscape.
