Health systems worldwide are under simultaneous pressure — ageing populations, workforce shortages, rising costs, the unfinished lessons of the last pandemic, and the slow, contested integration of digital health. The evidence on what actually improves outcomes, access, and value is spread across health policy, management science, public health, economics, and clinical research, and rarely meets in one place.
As a healthcare management conference with an international scope, HMHS brings that evidence together. It welcomes empirical studies, health-economic evaluations, policy analyses, management case studies, systematic reviews, and implementation research, across primary, secondary, community, and public health settings, and across both high- and low-resource systems.
Every abstract is reviewed double-blind by the Scientific Committee. Accepted abstracts are published in the Conference Abstract Book with an ISBN, and full papers may be published in the Conference Proceedings with an ISSN and a Crossref DOI, indexed in Google Scholar.
Participation is possible in person in London, as a poster presenter, or virtually from anywhere.
