Queensland Expands Surveillance to Tackle Illegal Dumping

The Queensland Government is providing A$13.7 million (approximately US$8.9 million) over three years to help 52 councils strengthen enforcement against illegal dumping. The funding will support new surveillance technology, dedicated compliance officers and targeted night-time patrols aimed at identifying offenders and reducing environmental damage across the state.
